Ford Motor Co. (NYSE:F) has announced a very great news for all car lovers, at least the Mustang fans are excited to hear about this launch. Ford is going to produce an all new Mustang set to release in 2015 which will be better in all aspects as compared to the older versions of the same tagline, for now this has what Mustang’s Chief Engineer Dave Pericak has said.

A 50 Year Old Car

Mustang has been company’s strength since decades and now company wants to bring that car again in to the market. Although sources have said that the hype created by the first release of the Mustang in 1964 cannot be challenged. But Ford on the other hand wants to give all in this new launch of Mustang.

What It Pack Under The Cover

The 2015 Mustang will be in itself the first Mustang to receive turbocharger after 1986 SVO model. Ford Motor Co. (NYSE:F) has specifically crafted this eco friendly engine to fit in for the upcoming model of Mustang. The 2.3-litre EcoBoost engine has been said to have the best-ever power output among all Ford engines available.

Ford’s New V8 Engine

Ford Motor Co. (NYSE:F) also has equipped the coupe with a 5.0-litre V8 engine which will produce a solid horsepower of 435 and at a torque of 400 lb-ft, better than the previous engine. It is also equipped with some new improved features such as larger intake and exhaust valves, upgraded intake and exhaust camshafts, piston tops and a customized crankshaft to provide higher rpm.

Considering all these upgrades and advancements the car has managed to achieve a base curb weight of about 3,524 pounds for Mustang EcoBoost fastback version, a mere 6 pounds heavier than the lightest 2014 Mustang V6. The car still has the best power-to-weight ratio amongst any car in $50,000 price bracket available in US.
