Tomahawk, WI 07/23/2014 (Basicsmedia) – Ford Motor Company (NYSE:F) came into lime light for announcing a series of changes in the senior leadership and management of the company and to continue delivering its One Ford plan. Various senior designations witnessed a well decided shuffle to help the company achieve its goal of accelerating its drive for product excellence.

Chief Technical Officer retires

Chief Technical Officer and Vice President of Research and Advanced Engineering department, Mr. Paul Mascarenas elected to retire of his service after 32 years of uninterrupted service. This decision will be effective from October 1, 2014. The post of Research and Advanced Engineering will be succeeded by Dr. Ken Washington with effect from August 18, 2014. He was the vice president of Space Technology Advanced Research & Development Laboratory located at Lockheed Martin’s Space Systems Company and had been reporting to Raj Nair.

Other hierarchical changes

Currently the company’s Vice president of Engineering, Kumar Galothra who is responsible for all Ford Motor Company (NYSE:F) and Lincoln vehicles will come to the seat effective from September 1, 2014. The new post is aimed at accelerating the Lincoln as world class luxury brand. Kumar will be reporting to Ford President and CEO Mark Fields. Galothra turns out to be the most senior leader of the Lincoln brand whose responsibility ranges globally in the production, development, marketing sales, service etc. The vice president succeeding Galothra is Jim Holland looking after vehicle component and systems engineering. This will come into effect from September 1,2014 and he will also be reporting to Nair.
