Tomahawk, WI 10/02/2013 (BasicsMedia) – Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) may have hit the jackpot when it recently launched its iPhone 5S and 5C on the same September 2013 weekend. Within a few days of this release, the company posted that it had outsold its competitors by such a huge margin. The figures it posted indicate that the two gadgets sold more than 9 million pieces on a single weekend, the same weekend when they were released. This is a figure which some companies take a whole year to get to. That is not all. It seems that AAPL has released 2 products which increase its competitive edge.

 AAPL Maintains its Competitive Edge

AAPL has always had a competitive edge over many of its competitors. This has been the case since it first released the iPad, and its very first iPhone. It took the market by storm and through a lot of innovation and inventiveness, the company has succeeded in cementing its place at the front of the queue when it comes to the Smartphone world and tablets. These two products have negatively affected the sale of PCs over time. AAPL’s sales have quadrupled and it seems like every time the company releases a new product, it attracts new customers who love its products.

According to analysts and industry experts, AAPL’s iPhone 5S has given this technology giant close to 18-month head-start over its competition. Not only that, but they also believe that the company’s iPhone 5C is now set to help it get a larger market share among the 5 to 25-year old lovers of iPhone. This group is estimated to number close to 100 million people, and is one which can push AAPL’s revenues and sales higher than ever before. If AAPL can achieve its goals with regard to iPhone 5C and the target market, they will entrench their brand further.

Customers Shifting from Other Mobiles to iPhones

A number of clients who used to love BlackBerry and Nokia, as well as iPhone 4 and 4S are now shifting to the new iPhone 5S and 5C. This is good news for AAPL since it indicates that they are adding to their number of clients. The future can only look great with such news. There is even talk among industry experts of the fact that AAPL will probably enjoy its greatest margins ever through the sales of iPhone 5C and 5S. This is the situation despite the reportedly limited supply of iPhone 5S. I only wonder what the situation might have been with unlimited supply.

Most stores in the UK, U.S and Australia are reporting that the moment the new iPhone 5S and 5C arrives they are completely sold out within a few hours. This is indicative of the strong pull these gadgets have on the market. They are further proof of just how much say and sway AAPL currently holds in the market. It is now quite common to find long queues in front of stores where iPhones are sold as people start arriving as early as they can to wait for the next batch to arrive. Investors in AAPL must be smiling all the way to the bank at this information.
